What it is
Japanese encephalitis is a mosquito-borne brain infection found in Korea and much of Asia. Korea vaccinates children routinely; adults planning long rural stays or travel in Asia sometimes get it too. Imojev is a live vaccine; the cell-culture vaccines are inactivated and need more doses.
