What it is
Meningococcal vaccines protect against bacteria that cause meningitis and blood infections. Menveo and Menactra cover the A, C, W and Y groups — often required for the Hajj, some universities and military service — while Bexsero covers group B.
What the price includes
Prices are per dose and include the injection fee. A full course often needs more than one dose.
Health insurance
Meningococcal vaccines are generally not part of the free national programme, so most people pay these prices.
